I had to put a family member on meds today.

I tried everything.

I tried love.

I tried patience.

I tried plugins.

I tried treats.

I tried locking him up in the garage to “think about what he did”.

I brought him to the dr.

The dr called him “the spawn of Satan”.

I kid you not.

Yesterday when the Dr suggested meds, my DH said no. No, we want alternative methods. No meds!!

Today we changed our minds.

This morning at 6am, I was awakened to the sounds of a cat yelling outside my door. When I didn’t rush to let him in, all went silent. Then I heard the tell tale sign of scratching the walls. I jumped up and opened the door in time to see the flash of a tail heading down the stairs. At my feet was a pile of cat urine.

That little doodoo-head of a cat pissed at my door. Again.

Then when we got up, we could smell poop. We couldn’t find it. We blamed it on the fishtank. There I was, cleaning out the fishtank at 7:30am. Poor fish. Then DH went to put charlottes shoes on. Sebastian had pooped in Charlotte’s shoes.

So we relented and I went back to the vet this am. The doctor wrote up a prescription for Kitty Prozac. I think they actually felt bad for me. They said he can be on it for a lifetime if it ‘helps’.

Something better help because otherwise my foot is going to go through his throat.
