A few months back, Charlotte and I went to see Puss in Boots in the theater. Sadly, I think it was the last movie I actually saw in the theater, which doesn’t say much for my going out skills.
If you haven’t seen it, you must. It follows along the lines of all the other Dreamworks movies and has a great plot and characters you can bond with. Chances are you already know Puss in Boots, but you will meet some other great characters that will steal your heart, like Kitty Softpaws and Humpty.
The movie is being put out in a 2 pack (that means your kids can be distracted while you cook dinner!) which includes the full feature length film and an extra title called The Three Diablos. A little about both:
DreamWorks Animation’s PUSS IN BOOTS Synopsis
You loved him in Shrek…now see where the one-and-only swashbuckling feline found his fame – and a very big pair of boots – in the “hilariously funny” (Associated Press) animated epic! Lover, fighter and outlaw Puss In Boots (Antonio Banderas) is off on the adventure of his nine lives as he teams up with Kitty Softpaws (Salma Hayek) and Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis) for the ultimate showdown with the notorious Jack and Jill (Billy Bob Thornton and Amy Sedaris). Here’s the true story of The Cat, The Myth, The Legend – Puss In Boots!DreamWorks Animation’s PUSS IN BOOTS: THE THREE DIABLOS Synopsis
As the dust from his latest adventure begins to settle, Puss In Boots finds himself at a crossroads between two destinies – hero and outlaw. When a desperate princess hires Puss to recover her stolen ruby, he is reluctantly partnered with three little kittens. Adorable. Fuzzy. Deadly. The minute the mittens are off,
The Three Diablos wreak havoc on Puss’ mission to recover the stolen ruby from the notorious French thief, “Le Chuchoteur The Whisperer.” Can Puss tame these three little devils in time?————————————————
Both movies come highly recommended from Charlotte…which in my house is the highest recommendation you can get.
She said ” The three Diablos is shorter, but it’s really cute.”
Hey, she is 7. That is her full review.
Oh, and did I mention that I have my very own Puss?
His name is Napoleon.
He is fat and lazy.
This is his best “Puss in Boots” impression:
Or..maybe this is:
Btw, he was not happy that I put this mask on him…or that I proceeded to laugh for 15 minutes.
Which was nothing compared to how long I laughed about this:
Which got funnier the longer I left it on.

Oh, man.
That was fun.
Anyhoo.
Have you seen the movie? What did you think?
Trisha
PS I checked it out on amazon, and its $15 OFF retail! Its only $19.99 for BOTH movies!
PSS Movie provided free to facilitate review from PR, but hilarity..that’s all mine.
