Feature Boutique: Myra Caitlin Bowtique CLOSED

Do you need an adorable Halloween bow or clippies for your little pumpkin?  I have the “Boo-tique” for you! Our next Feature Boutique is the Myra Caitlin Bowtique!  Welcome, Kami!

Kami was nice enough to send over a few samples of her work, and let me be the first to tell you….they are fantastic!  The craftsmanship and materials used come together to make a quality product.  And to top it off, her prices are VERY reasonable!  Lily wore this precious butterfly barrette in the picture below to a birthday party today and it didn’t slip out of her hair once!

I also fell in love with the curly ponytail holders!  Lily loves them, too!

1.  Congratulations on being a MomDot Feature Boutique!  Please introduce yourself to the MomDot readers!

First, I want to say thank you for featuring the Myra Caitlin bowtique! My name is Kami, and I am a SAHM to two wonderful children.  I am blessed to have both my little miracle babies. I have an almost 4 year old preschooler named Joey and a 2 year old princess, named Emma. They take up most of my time, but when I have my quiet time, I enjoy making bows and accessories!  I started at the beginning of this year and have been enjoying it ever since! I also enjoy cooking, scrapbooking, and shopping online! It is a sad addiction but I am okay with it! :)

2.  What is the inspiration behind your product?

My inspiration for starting my business was my little angel Myra. I gave birth to her last March, but sadly she left us too soon!  I was never very girly with Emma, my first daughter. I wish I had been more girly with her, but never really had the time or the knowledge to. Then when I found out we were pregnant with a 2nd daughter, I vowed to be more girly with her. I bought lots of headbands, and I learned how to make all sorts of bows and created some of my own. Unfortunately, she never got to wear them…but Emma loves them!  I got many compliments on my bows and everyone was telling me that I should make them, so last June I jumped in and started my company. Trying to think of a name, I only felt it appropriate to name it after my sweet angel!

Now, all the ideas and inspiration I get are from my daughter, Emma. She loves ladybugs and butterflies, and if I need a bow for a certain outfit of hers then I create one! :) It is a lot of fun!

3.  How did you take your product from concept to reality?

Many hours of Television :)    Seriously, though, I just sat down and started sewing and hot gluing, etc, and I had a lot of help from my friends.

4. What sets your company apart from your competitors?

I have one-hundred elves whistling away, sewing, gluing and tying bows. :) j/k  Really, all that I can say is that I love what I do and I love what I sell! All my bows are handmade from a loving and caring home! I put a lot of time and effort into making each bow and hope that everyone will enjoy them as much as I love making them and as much as my daughter loves wearing them!

5.  The pumpkin clips would be perfect for Fall!   Which product is your favorite?

I love the pumpkins as well..I think they are very cute! My personal favorite though would have to be my butterflies. I just think they are too cute for words! The Princess Butterfly is probably my favorite out of all of them!

6.  What’s next for your boutique?  Any giveaways, sales, promotions in the near future?

Well, I just did a festival here where I live and I am hoping to do some more this Holiday season. I am planning on doing some sales around the end of November for Christmas so everyone please check back for some great deals!

Thanks, Kami!
