Now that charlotte is almost 4, she has really started to recognize and sound out letters. In fact, I got a really amazing necklace (im going to tell you about in another post) that says MOmDot on it and she likes to point out the letters and put them together for me! She is definitely on her way to becoming a reader.

I have 3 children so between them all this Grand Prize list covers an area of interest for each of them. My oldest son is 7 years old and even though the Book Cool Stuff Exploded is geared towards age 9-12 my son is at that level in terms of his knowledge of technology and his curiosity for how things like cars “work”. This is the book my child would enjoy most and I imagine I wouldn’t be able to break him away from it, unless perhaps I bribe him with brownies or something like that, LOL! What I think is so cool about this particular book is that it takes a unique look at the items we use every day and brings them to life through explanation to the young reader of the book.
