I’m loving these new shirts

from Target. I was just in there this week and they have these adorable tank tops but I was looking at the sizing just squinting my eyes. Everything looked so dang small. I swear it said Womens clothing.

I kept holding it up. Squinting.

target

XS…Yeah. It could fit Charlotte.

S…Not much better

M…Ok, fine, that’s my stopping point. I’m not going higher in size. I  REFUSE.

I buy that one. I get home and try it on and I look like a stuffed sausage in it.   Or rather a woman trying to not admit what size she is.  Even my DH couldn’t defend it. I take it off.  It’s going back to the store.

I just now looked it up on Target.com…its actually a juniors.

Oh, Thank the Laud.

I’m slightly relieved I don’t have to put down the cheesecake now. It was gonna get hairy in here.

    @ Kathleen (aka Glamma Grandma):
well, yes, if that picture had been displayed. LOL! But it was just the shirts laying on some tables that were in womens.

  2. The key here was to look at the shorts the girl is wearing :-/ Not many “adults” could/should pull that off … definitely Juniors!

Hey, I love that tank. I can wear small usually, sometimes med. Their pants are a lot smaller sized then anything else.

Oh for Pete’s sake!!! Those sizing charts CANNOT be right!
It IS a cute tee though!

  5. LOL! Its funny cause the older I get, the smaller Junior’s sizes get. What.. Like they dont eat ho-ho’s? :X

  6. Suzanne says:

Those are cute. Juniors? No way I’ll ever fit in one!

I still shop in the juniors section a lot, and I’ll buy what fits, even if it is a L or XL. I have decided that tags don’t mean a thing. If it bugs you buy the large size, then cut the tag out! :) LOL!

  8. I think I bought one of these! lol I bought one patterned and one black. The black looks fine. The patterned one? Stuffed sausage. *ughhhhhh*

I wish that they made cute clothes in a size other that Juniors. Try being a plus size, you get to wear old lady clothes.

Of course they are juniors – all of the cute clothes are!! LOL. I do that so often, and it is discouraging. I had to laugh at your “stuffed sausage” comment – that rings true for me more often than I care to mention!
