On Friday we headed out to the Taste of Sams and it was pretty fun! I will tell ya, kids and samples just go together. Charlotte had a good time walking around testing out the cheese and cheesecake both. I tried everything and was especially surprised how good the ham was. I am not really a ham person but it was baked in some sort of brown sugar and it was total yum.
(happy child)
I heard from some of the other bloggers that went and it was a collage of experiences but ours was great. There were over 10 tables set up with a variety of foods, including lots of Thanksgiving samples. I even got to test out hot chocolate! On one station there was a chef walking around talking to guests about holiday meal planning. They did have a wine section, but it was more on education and no tasting.
Totally bummer there, lol.
Chris found something he wants in his stocking this year (a 5 pound bag of reeses pieces):
We ended up walking out with a cheesecake under one arm and an Asti Spumante under the other. Charlotte was so stuffed from all the samples that she didn’t eat a lick of her dinner that night.
Here are some pictures from our time:

Did you go?
