Last week the MomDot.com Blogging Community got together and created a little token of our thanks to some of our PR firms. Of course we could never thank everyone (I couldn’t find a song long enough to do that!) but asked for a few favorites to put in the video….
MomDot cannot thank enough people, but we want to give shout outs to Circle PR, RocketXL, Edelman, Flieshman-Hillard, Mattel, Kraft, Meredith, Tea Collection, Evenflo, Rashidah at MBooth, Burst, The Motherhood, Mom Central, all the supporters of Brandcation, all of our blog community that makes connecting and being online so much fun, and the readers that make it possible.

Our point is that new media has come a long way since I first started.
As bloggers we are independent contractors and with millions of sites online, our community is so thankful and grateful to be a part of magazine spreads, commercials, ambassador programs, blog campaigns, and have our voice heard by consumers around the world. To those PR firms and businesses that “get” bloggers, we thank you. We thank you for calling us by our names, by understanding we need conference calls in nap times, that believe in our voice, opinions, and consulting.
That understand when we say “no” its not personal.
That understand that our blogs are our lives and our jobs and we care about them.

Shoot, looks like my comment yesterday did not go through! I just wanted to thank you, Trisha, for putting together this video. I was honored to be included in this wonderful project. It’s so hard to reach out and thank everyone individually that I have a pleasure to work with and a Thank you in email never seems like enough. PR Reps work so hard at trying to fight the right bloggers to work with on campaigns and I know that I’m not only blessed but appreciated when I get an email asking me to be included.
