The Dottie Awards!

Twice a year we take nominations for The Dottie Awards, where you can nominate a blog you love for one of these categories. All blogs receiving a nomination will go into the final poll, which will be done on MomDot for one week, and a winner for each category will be drawn. If there are over 10 nominations for a category, we reserve the right to only use nominations that received more then one nomination to keep the category limited.

All winners will be allotted a SPECIAL CATEGORY under MomDot blog listings where only the Dottie Award winners will be listed, thereby assisting them in being seen much more often (last years winners are listed there now). They will remain there until the new award winners are crowned, so approximately  5-6 months.

You may beg, plead, ask, borrow, steal, and push for votes any way you want. Make sure you list on your blog to get people to come nominate you, twitter, you can even nominate yourself (one time). You may use any of these graphics and feel free to twitter.

After the nominations are over, we will be putting up the polls for one week. Get your nominations in! The more you have, the better you are securing your chance to get to the finals.

What we need:

The blog you are nominating, the name of the blogger, the link, and the category you are nominating them for. From now till Monday the 19th to MomDot@live.com, leave here in the comments, or use the Contact page

Last year the categories were High School Related (homecoming queen, drama queen, etc). This time they are appropriately Award Show related as suggested from a MomDot user.
