The Fab Fifteen is Going Shopping

going-shoppingI like to shop, and given the fact that 8-9 hours of my day is spent online, you might imagine I find some pretty neat things that your average web surfer wouldn’t come across (unless they knew exactly what to look for).  So, being the good sharer that I am, I decided to point y’all in the direction of 15 pretty cool and nifty products that you really should check out.  And if you like them…buy them!  I assure you they are all really cool.

.) Stork Magnets:  So you may or may not know that I have spent the last 18 days talking about all things pregnancy and maternity related on my site, as such I have run into some pretty nifty products geared toward pregnant women.  One of my faves is Stork Magnets; they are pregnancy and birth announcement magnets.  Instead of sending out the conventional (and somewhat boring) regular birth announcements, send out a magnet to announce that you are expecting or that you had you baby.  Now that’s trendy.

.) Twin Birch Bath and Body:  I still love Etsy, even with all the trouble I’ve had I still love handmade, and Twin Birch Bath and Body makes some of the best smelling and sexy massage melts out there.  All the products are handmade, and they range from body lotions to dog shampoos.  A shop worth checking out.

.) Silly Toes Productions: As both Erin and I can attest, Silly Toes Productions puppets are great. Both of my girls love the puppet we have and Ellie love to have a puppet show; she’s even got a good puppet voice down.

.) Q.bel: I love chocolate, it would be a sad day in my house if I ever had to give up chocolate, so when I ran across Q.bel I was immediately drawn to their products. Why? Because they are all natural chocolate goodies…now I can feel good about eating chocolate: hey it’s natural!

.) Noppies: I’d never heard of this clothing company before…most likely because they are a European business, but Noppies makes some of the cutest kids outfits and some of the most stylish maternity clothes I have seen. An added bonus is that for the style, they are really reasonably priced.

.) This mama wants a fully loaded, tricked out MacBook with tons of graphics software and a portable external hard drive. Who doesn’t? But since that isn’t going to happen and I have to settle for my Dell which hopefully works this time, we are going to be moving on.

.) Loop-2-Loop: Ellie (my daughter in case you missed it) is potty trained and in panties…which means she has plumber’s crack like nobody’s business, so she needed a belt that would hold her pants up, but let her take them off by herself. The Loop-2-Loop is probably the neatest belt I have ever seen. Go check it out!

.) The BuckleyBoo: Yeah it has a weird name, but this toy/stuffed animal/educational thing-a-ma-bob is pretty cool. It helps kids learn how to buckle buckles, match patterns and shapes, and it is super soft and great for snuggling.

.) L’ovedbaby 4-1 Nursing Shawl: I haven’t tried it, but I love the look and the idea behind this product. I happen to be a BIG fan of multi-functional products especially when they are made for moms and babies.

.) Red Thread Confections: Of course I am drawn to the sweeter things in life…I haven’t tried them…yet, but I will be pointing out out to my hubby. But seriously not only do they made some gorgeous and delicious looking confections (I’ll take the assortment please), but a portion of their proceeds are donated to charity!

.) smART Quotes For Kids: My multi-functional fetish strikes again. These canvases are perfect for decorating a child’s room or a playroom; not only are they decorative and very pretty and fun to look at, they each come with an inspirational quote. I am a big believer in surrounding kids with positivity (even in art).

.) Hillcountry Dollmaker: I happen to have a thing for Waldorf inspired dolls, and am absolutely drooling over these one of a kind creations. If I wasn’t SO POSITIVE that the doll would end up colored on, chewed up, dunked in the potty, etc I might think about getting one…for ME.

.) Spill Proof Potty Chair: So, last weekend we went of a hike and picnic. Being that it is winter the park facilities were closed, but Ellie said she needed to go. Ok, so I was about to introduce her to the freedom of peeing outdoors…except she looked at the ground and wailed “that’s not a POTTY” and proceeded to tell me (loudly) that she NEEDED a potty. (insert image of us driving around like morons until we found the ONE bathroom in the entire park that was open…did I mention it was a state park?) So, I am going to be investing in…a portable potty chair.

.) Messeez: I hate cleaning our car seats…actually I hate cleaning in general, but cleaning out a carseat stinks. So, why didn’t I think about buying a carseat cover in the first place? Sometimes it appears that I am a little slow. I like the pink flower one. (PS. Yup, I know that there are some people who say that using a car seat cover isn’t a good idea…I really don’t need y’all blasting me for putting it on here. Thanks :) )

.) Bambina Ballerina: Alright, I should just say first that I had no idea that Trisha’s Bambina was a boutique…I though it was another blog LOL. But, I love these, if my kids had some hair and hairbows we (and by that I mean “I”) would be getting one…and I would probably hang it up and never use it because they are like a work of art. My favorite? The Mid Summer Night’s Dream. And no, I didn’t put this up here to suck up…since I don’t need to suck up for anything…yet ;) .
