The Great Blue Hole at Lighthouse Reef
One day while meandering around the Internet, I came across this natural wonder of the world called The Great Blue Hole, which is located in Belize. I was simply astounded. Its incredibly beautiful and wondrous in one.

60 miles off the Belize City, the depth, 480 feet, causes the deep blue color and is a limestone sinkhole. If you are wondering, yes its a popular dive spot, and you can go approx 150 feet down in clear water caves. Expect to pay from $125-$200 for a diving trip.

I’ve seen photos of that and think it is beautiful, too. I’ve always wanted to go to Belize, but would never go diving there after I saw that movie about those divers who all lost their lives in a hole like that. {{{SHUDDER}}}
