The Internet Moms Trip

I wanted to take a break from the norm and tell you about my moms trip. Last weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting up with 12 girls that I met solely on the internet  (except for one…I went to High School with her but she found me again on my my-space page and we became friends again- that’s Toni up there on the right). We have chatted on a forum for many years and we met last weekend and all rented a condo together.

I was a bit nervous..what if these girls were not as totally awesome as I am? What if they were not even GIRLS? Was about all the online arguments on religion, having kids, pacifiers, and more- now going to turn from forum “discussions” (you know what im talking about if you ever have joined a forum)  to real life fights at dinner? Alas, they didn’t. LOL

These girls were WONDERFUL. We had such an amazing time. We went out to fancy dinners every night, partied into the twilight, (which was fun for moms without kids present) went jet skiing, parasailing, on a dolphin tour, to the spa, shopping, and last but not least, spent hours playing charades and games at the condo on our last night. It was completly awesome and I look forward to more trips with my Internet buddies, who are truly my best friends. They are the only ones that get to see every complaint and triumph that I have had. They share with me their businesses (and incidentally helped me name mine), their marriage, and their children, so it was really cool to put personalities to text.
