Since our entire area has been shut down due the “1 inch Snow Scare of 2010″ in our area tomorrow, I figured I better take Charlotte out on the town before they enact a curfew.
Seriously, the schools closed in ‘preparation’.
Chris has been gone this week and we were bored anyway so we headed out to the bookstore and off to dinner. On the way driving we had this conversation:
Charlotte: “Mom, when I growed up..I want to be an astronaut so I can see the Earth and the Moon at the same time.”
Me: “That’s a good idea honey.”
Charlotte: “And I want to drive a race car..no, a motorcycle.”
Me: “Hmm, we will talk about it.”
Charlotte: “And I really love Shetland ponies”
(well, that was specific. I have no response to this. This could be a trap.)
Charlotte: “And I’m going to go to college so I can earn money.”
College? EARN?
She really IS listening when she is ignoring me!!!!!!!!!

You should be a proud mommy, she’s one smart cookie!
Now that’s a good girl! Such ambition she has!
Way to go Charlotte! She’s on the track to good things and to be awesome as a race car driver!
The things kids say! I’m surprised when my oldest pulls stuff out of no where that I talk about…
Awesome! Sounds like she’s headed on the right track already. She’s a smart girl!!
You Have a very astute child, Trisha!
At least she’s hearing good things! Sometimes I wish my kids were NOT listening!
