The USS Alabama and hashbrowns

Check it out..this is a picture I took of the Battleship where I was at yesterday. I filmed that little intro below deep inside there. It was about 100 degrees. Southern ladies don’t sweat, they glisten. A LOT.

btw, I got so caught up in hanging here this morning I forgot about my hashbrowns and now they are cold. Do they reheat ok?

We’ve been there with my oldest son. He and my husband loved it. We want to take our youngest son. He would be amazed.

We went there a couple of years ago. I love going to tour places like that. I think it would have been super cool to been on an aircraft carrier. (no kids, no husband, no spit up, no potty training, oh the life!) ; )

  3. I love how these enhance creative play. My boys love capes, and how exciting to have one with your name on it!

Wow, that is amazing! Never seen anything like it before, thanks for sharing.

I don’t know if hash browns reheat well…I would think they would be mushy if you put them in the microwave. Though maybe it is like pizza dough…if you put left over pizza in the oven, it’s really good.

    that’s really neat Trisha!

  7. When my husband was in the Navy (he was medically retired after 16 years) I was in San Diego when the Aircraft Carrier came into port after their deployment during 9-11. It’s such a rare and unique experience to see the huge ships, I never did get to go on one though. What amazed me was that they docked it like they were parking a porsche…whoosh…right in!
