Things that make you go…WTF?

I had to dedicate this post to the person who took the time to read a post of mine, didn’t like my opinion, and then left a comment stating how she wasted her time on me and that its not too late to euthanize my child….I suppose we are even considering I just wasted my time reading your response.

Nonetheless, I couldn’t resist sharing this lovely comment with my readers from a troll that was too big of a whiny baby to type their real name, instead putting “Kill Yourself” in the name area.

Dude. That is completely lame. Are you 10?

Seriously, you took the entire time to write that but couldn’t put down a thoughtful, educational response that would make me change my mind?

Or was it that I was just right and it hit home.

*cough*

Look, now you made baby Jesus cry.

P.S. Isnt this a cool trick? I can see you thanks to the US government, Google Earth, and those pesky little IP addresses.

Makes not leaving your name kinda pointless now, huh?

Aw, Trish, I’m sorry someone would even make such a comment. It’s stuff like that that keeps me from running a blog. You’re just kinda naked when you have your own blog. Shame on that person. Kids are always off limits, and so are non-blogging spouses and family members. I’ve been a loyal subscriber for two years now and I ALWAYS enjoy your posts (good, bad or indifferent). I may not always agree with you, but I respect your right to say it, and, if I really like a post, I let you know in a comment. If I don’t like it, I keep my opinion to myself unless I have something “worthy” to contribute to the post; not attack the author. I think you’re pretty terrific and I’m sure your children are too. Hang in there baby:)

I can’t believe someone would write that kind of stuff, esp. about your child. Hey, we’re all fair game because we put ourselves out there. But our children are OFF LIMITS! I agree that the person is a coward.

  3. Michelle says:

I cannot believe that person said that about your child! she’s going to hell in a handbag for that. (I know its supposed to be “basket” but I like handbags better!)
totally awesome that you found the house, lmao I’m sure she’ll/he’ll think twice about leaving nasty shit on blogs again

  4. Good for you! I am sick of these ugly people who hide behind their computers thinking we won’t know who they are. When will they learn that they are NOT unknown?

  5. WTH?!? *sigh* People are cray-cray out there. Just plain cray-cray. I’m glad you blocked Weirdo, and I hope he/she gets what’s coming to him/her. Just pathetic.

  6. Go get ‘em.

  7. jessica says:

had that happen to me once only I was told I should give her up for adoption and at least the guy left his name

  8. Jenn Clark says:

I may not always agree with what someone writes but if I go to the trouble of leaving a comment about MY feelings on THEIR blog then I include my name. I ought to own it if I’m gonna write it but then again, I would never say anything THAT stupid and unconstructive to anyone…online or in real life!

BTW-love the google trick! awesome and to the point!

  9. Tracy says:

Trish, UR Awesome!! Love your response back:)

  10. ClassyMommy says:

Very cool IP trick – never saw that one done before with the Google Earth. So sorry for the nasty comments. Awful! And having met your daughter, I’m happy to report she was a total doll of course! If only she lived closer so she could continue to help Kenzie improve her swimming skills.

  11. Brandy says:

OH I have done that before! LOL It’s so cool but please don’t do it to my house! LOL

I can’t believe they took the time to even comment such a way .. but your response is certainly KILLER ;-)

Love your responses to these crazy commentators!!

  12. Laura says:

You get some of the strangest and meanest comments!

  13. Kim says:

    Girl, you are insanely funny!

  14. Tasha says:

House of coward…I love that you did that! Shame on them. Seriously.

  15. Michelle says:

Ok, I’m a lurker/reader of your blog for a while, but I just had to comment on this. I’m not sure how you took the comment when you first read it, but I imagine you being calm about it. If so, you acted way classier than I would have. I would have gone ballistic. Its one thing to take a shot at you…I mean let’s face it bloggers put themselves out there for that to happen, but I consider kids to be off limits and to even suggest such things is just beyond me to even try to comprehend. I’m really hoping this individual is a disturbed person who is just in desperate need of help instead of an average person with dare I say it…kids. Your stab back with finding her location made me laugh so hard. LOL! Keep up the great work and keep ignoring the utter morons out there. :-)

  16. Are you kidding me. That’s the most horrendous thing I’ve ever heard. This person needs some serious help.

  17. Kristen says:

That’s pretty awesome. I’d like to know exactly how you did that b/c I googled it and found my IP address but then it says I’m somewhere in Kansas–which I most definitely am not. Then again my IP doesn’t show up in a lot of stuff–that Feedjit tracker thing puts me somewhere in Illinois. Whoever said that mess really needs to think about what they say though….those were horrible things to say and they wouldn’t want people saying that about them or their children.

    • Trisha-admin says:

My thing has you in New York and it tracks you living right by this body of water…looks like a lake or a river or something.

Some IP addresses are rotating so it changes depending on how its served. Yours very well may be that if I am wrong.

  18. Nicole says:

I’m not so much offended by what she said to you – I mean, lets face it, we put out our opinions (which we have a complete right to) and well, people are either going to like it or not. But you can go about disagreeing with someone with out being a complete ass. The fact that she also mentioned your child in a foul way proves that she has issues way beyond disagreeing with you.

  19. jen says:

That’s Awful someone would say that. BUT LOL @ that picture! I would love to know what she is thinking right about now if she has seen this LOL

    • Trisha-admin says:

Well, i blocked her IP after I wrote this, so unless she surfs in from a fakey one, she wont see it. And if she surfs in from a fakey one, she just has issues that we cant resolve here.

  20. People are entitled to say anything they want about me, but to even SUGGEST such a thing about my child??!!? I’d be a lunatic woman. Ugh. I am completely disgusted by anyone who would say such a thing. No one should have to read those kinds of comments. Kudos to you for the way you handled it.
