With Mother’s Day just around the corner, have you finished your shopping or left enough “hints” for your spouse and kids? My oldest child is only 4, so I don’t have a lot of Mother’s Day under my belt, but I can tell you that the gifts that do stand out are the ones that are filled with meaning and sentiment.
Still stumped? Take a look at the fabulous finds over at Things Remembered! They have unique gifts for Mom that can be personalized such as picture frames, birthstone necklaces, and water globes. But, my favorite item is definitely the new Charm Story line debuting at Things Remembered.

This program is a creative way to honor Mom and her accomplishments. Either a beautiful necklace or bracelet is chosen and charms can be added to reflect memorable occasions which will display her unique story. Each charm has ample space to engrave a name, date or message in order to further personalize the gift. Charms are available for a wide variety of occasions including graduation, new baby, and birthday. How much fun is it to wear jewelry with a story!?! I think this one is my favorite!

I would love this for myself.. I would put all of my kids names on it and wear it every day. I can’t remember the last time someone got a gift for me
My younger sister is mentally handicapped she would lovw this.
Last March… My brother was diagnosed with Cancer and stationed 4 hours away from home in a Childrens hospital. My mom didnt even think twice about losing her job where she has worked the past 15 years. After her sick leave and FMLA was out…she was informed that her job wouldnt be available to her when she returned. That didnt bother her one bit. Her main concern was staying at my brothers side, day and night. My father also chose to lose his job to be there for my brother.
He fought for his life for a year and is recently in remission!
my mom is hoping to return soon so her place of employment… and my dad still has yet to find a job.
Thanks for the chance!
When I was about 11 or twelve I went to a birthday party at my sister and I remember seeing a boy there who brought his little sister to the party. I thought that he was so cute and I told my sister that I was going to marry that boy some day and she just laughed due to I was only 11 at the time…well I didn’t see him again until I was 14 and my brother in law said that he was too old for me and he told this boy to stay away from me….Well we all moved away and I didn’t even get a chance to say goodbye. When I became 16, my dad passed away and my mom and I moved back to my hometown and low and behold I ran into this boy again and dated for awhile until we moved again. Since I left I started dated other people and got married . After 2 kids I found out that my husband at that time was cheating and we grew apart and I took my daughter back to my hometown because my Son was older and moved out prior to my breakup. Any way, I am trying to make a living and took my daughter to a local fair and would you believe there was that boy or man I should say staring at me and finally he ask “where have you been for the last 30 years”? So we started dating again and fell in love all over again and after 30 years we finally got married! We have celebrated our 9th year together and we love each other dearly. We are getting close to 60 years old now and I am having a wonderful life!…… Thanks for a chance to win.
My mom is the bestest!
She always puts others before herself like right now, she’s taking care of my dad who is battling colon cancer and her mom who has been in and out of the hospital/rehab for the past two years.
I would love to have this for myself. My dh isn’t the greatest rememberer of special holidays, especially Mother’s Day. I also work fulltime, the midshift, so one on one time with the kids is sparse most days. Having a charm bracelet with my kids names on them, would make me feel like they were with me a bit.
my little sister has been suffering from diabetes and rheumatoid arthitis for many years and is also on synthroid (for a non working thyroid). She is a single mother who works a full time job (although she could go on disability if she choose to). She does not let her medical problems get her down, she maintains a sunny and optimistic outlook on life. She is an inspiration to anyone who knows her. I know with her numerous medical problems that it is very likely that she will not live a long life and I would love for her to win this charm. I would like to have it engraved with the names of her two daughters (Hailey and Shanna). She not only is my sister but also my very best friend.
