Not surprisingly, because we have been feeding and loving it and it has been loving us right back.
I cannot believe anyone would ever put this cat out or abandon it. It lays on its back and lets you rub its belly. It curls up in a ball on your lap. It gives you kisses. It smiles when you rub its head.
I say “it” cause the second we officially name it, it becomes ours. It already thinks its ours.
I have 4 {rescued} furbabies already and this cat isn’t fixed, hasn’t had shots, and has a wound in his side. I cannot let him near my other pets. They want to go in the backyard, he wants to come in.
It’s a war around here at the door.
I need to find him a forever home. Someone who will appreciate a cat that wants love and willing to give love like this. Can you please pass this post on that we have a young cat, that someone abandoned and was living in the gutter, and we have been feeding it and caring for it, but we have a household full and this cat needs a family that isn’t so large.
Someone stopped by and mentioned it looked like a Russian Blue and it does if you look up the breed.

awwww HE”S just adorable. SO sweet. I had one similar to that as a child. Wish we could have him but my son’s allergies had us giving our cat of 6 yrs away to my son’s girlfriend. Atleast we can still go see him.

awe tooo sad I hate that people do this! That is how I got my girl kitty someone dropped her mom and kittens in the dessert! She was the last to find a home because no one wanted a black cat. I took her in and she loves me for it every day!
Beautiful cat! There is one that looks just like him running around my neighborhood lately. So sad that someone would abandon an animal. I really hope you find a home for him.
I used to cat sit, for my neighbor who has a russian blue, LOL.. He looked the same as your buddy! Very sweet cat.. the sweetest cat I’ve known, came to us just like yours..

We took in a cat the same color and everything about 3 yrs ago. We call him Smokey. He is a huge lap cat. He came to our door in a big ice storm.

I had a part Russian Blue. Is it’s tail alternating shades of two grays and has a crook on the end? They are really pretty cats.
Yes, you described it PERFECTLY!! So thats what it is, then? It has almost stripes at the very end…like atlernating colors. He really is gorgeous.
Mine also had a patch of white on her chin. It was the cutest thing.
