I am sick of picking up after charlotte.
I am sick of picking up after Chris.
I am sick of picking up after the cats.
The next thing I pick up that doesn’t belong to me I am throwing away. In fact, I have already started a garbage bag and its sitting on the top of the stairwell.
I dare someone to try me.
That is all.

I feel for you, I totally know what you mean.
I’ve tried the “if you don’t pick this up, I’ll throw it away” thing but my three year old seems to think that’s funny and he’ll randomly, days later, start throwing his toys in the trash – or MY things. Um, no.

ha ha! My dad used to throw our stuff out on the driveway. Now THAT was embarrassing. Luckily my husband is very neat. We’ll see about my 15 month old when the time comes….
I have two boys, 4 1/2 and 2 1/2…they know that whatever is on the floor of their rooms when they hit the bathtub each night ~~ gets thrown away. I have done it, they know it. As far as hubby, if he leaves his crap where I don’t want it, I hide some of it and I throw some of it away, depending on what it is. He still has not come around. I guess what they say about old dogs and new tricks is true. LOL
your annoyed face is similar to mine
My husband will nearly trip over items I place by the stairs to go to the basement. I think there’s something seriously wrong with their brains.
WOW. You sure do look annoyed. I think I see something on the floor behind you in the picture that needs to be picked up. LOL
I don’t blame you! Your annoyed face is kinda cute too
LoL Trish you crack me up. Love the look, lol.
Too funny, although I know the feeling all too well
Hopefully that bag will deter everyone from leaving things around
Oh my gosh – too funny. I can COMPLETELY sympathize!
I had to laugh when I read this, because that’s actually a policy I instituted a few years ago: when the out-of-place clutter gets out-of-hand, I announce that anything not where it’s supposed to be in 10 minutes goes in the bag headed to Goodwill. I only had to follow through on the threat once. To this day, it works every time!
As kids we were not the best at keeping things picked up, so my mom finally got fed up aad cleaned up our room by putting everything we had left laying around in a locked closet. She was the only one who had a key. She kept that stuff locked up for a month. Needless to say when she let us have our stuff back we made sure we didn’t leave it laying around.
My kids have 3 toys each because they didnt want to pick them up but they put them all in trash bags to go to the dump so they didnt have to anymore
Ah the “picking up” game LOL I hear you! Never ending here…it just goes on and on and…
well…my stepson Josh is great at picking things up…lol…my husband..not so much
I can SO relate to this! I HATE, no actually make that detest picking up after my kids and my fiance. I seriously LOVE the idea of throwing it all away, I always threaten my kids with that and then I never follow through so they know better…maybe I’ll just call their bluff next time!
I’m with you! I am so tried of picking up around here as well. If it’s not a kid – it’s a dog!
Our daughter doesn’t even live here anymore, and I’m still picking up after her! It seems like whenever she comes over she leaves stuff here. Will it ever end?
