This made me cry..had to share

A dog went out and took a dog that had gotten hit in traffic and drug him to the other side of the road. It was caught by a street camera and posted on youtube. Just the compassion is amazing. More then some people would ever do.

You know, a cat got hit in front of our neighborhood a few days before thanksgiving. And it was just lying there and my heart couldn’t take it every time I drove into the neighborhood, so my DH went out there a few days later and made sure the cat was removed and laid to rest.

I cant stand when animals get hurt. We see too many of them around here.

That is amazing. What a heart filled task that was. I was so terrified through the whole video that the rescuer dog would get hit too.

I saw that on the news the other night…and cried. These animals are almost more human than humans.

I cry too at stuff like that… something about animals and I choke up. I can barely read the Velveteen rabbit to my son and that is just a story. When I see real life animals like this…oh now, I’m getting all ferclempt…again.

I have a huge soft spot for animals. Last year on my husbands way to work he noticed a deer who had gotten stuck in a fence so he got out and helped untangle him. I don’t know how anyone could hit an animal and not stop to help.

Do we know what happened to the dog that pulled him off the street? I HAVE TO KNOW what happened to him.

WOW! I can’t believe that! How sweet that the other dog cared so much to do that! I wonder if both these dogs were strays or someone’s pets. If they’re strays I hope someone see this before they go out and buy a pure bread and adopts them. Do we know if the dog survived? Probably not but just curious.

Tricia, that’s so sweet what your hubs did for that cat. I can’t stand to even see raccoons and squirls on the side of the road!

    Ya, that is crazy.

I’ts sad that dogs will look after each other and most people won’t. Did you see the video where an old man got hit while riding his bike on a busy street and no one came to help him while cars just drove around him? That made me sick.

That brought tears to my eyes too. Animals do seem to show much more compassion than some people.

On my way to work one morning, someone had hit a dog, and just kept driving. I ended up being the one to stop and call someone to come help it. I couldn’t handle just driving away and leaving it there.

We had a wonderful dog growing up…this post made me think of a time when our dog Digger went to the protection of another dog. We lived in the country …everyone just let their dogs run loose a lot. Well one neighbor had a disabled dog…it didnt have feeling in its back legs and dragged them, but it got around. Well one day we hear some dogs fighting…and another neighbors 2 dogs were beating on this dog. Our dog ran in there too…we first thought it was going to fight also…but he didnt..he came to the rescue of the other dog, fighting off the 2 dogs until my mom went out with a broom to break it up.

this was amazing & sad at same time. i saw another article online where dogs actually show fairness. there was some study and a dog would a trick for a treat, but would not do it again when it noticed another dog did not get a treat as well. i<3dogs. my youngest is a big time animal lover…she can’t bare for them to get hurt. she saw a friend’s dog get ran over once and cried for awhile.

Oh, good heavens, Trisha. Now I’m crying like a baby. You’re so right. It’s more than most humans would do. All the cars that kept driving by… it’s just heartbreaking.

we have 5 cats, so no animal is just an animal, they are very important to us….it just makes me angry when people don’t take care of their pets and then something happens to them.
