Tottiebean Swimwear: Giveaway and Review CLOSED

That’s right……if you hadn’t noticed we are gearing up towards spring time around here. I know a lot of you live in the cold, but here on the Gulf Coast, we are thinking of which swimsuits will cover our bottoms and how in one month we will be splashing around in backyard pools.

I was so pleased when tottieBEAN and I started chatting over upcoming 2009 Season of swimwear and I was more than happy to check out some of their adorable and modest swimsuits for little girls. With truly bright summer colors like red, hot pink, orange, and purple, there were a variety of ruffled fronts that, as you can see, looked adorable while Charlotte was testing out the “about 2 degrees too cold” weather.

About tottieBEAN:

tottieBEAN is designed and created by two sisters. Growing up in a family of ten, the two sisters bonded with their eight brothers over family, friendship, competition, and community in a sports-filled home and neighborhood. They now have 7 children between them and want their kids to grow up healthy, fit and happy with a spirit of friendship.

Above all, they want their kids to enjoy being kids and tottieBEAN togs is a way for them to dress like kids, be active, and maintain a classic look. The clothes are athletic-kid inspired and meant to be fun. Afterall, you are only a kid once!

The initial reaction to tottieBEAN was incredibly positive, therefore we decided to extend the sizing to include ladies. Many teens and moms are able to find items in the ladies section. Our original goal was to create a line for the younger kids that is classic, age appropriate, and comfortable for an active lifestyle. We now know that all ages are looking for the same thing: clothes that look good and are comfortable.

For those of you that are about 2 months too soon to be thinking about this direction, they have a selection of gorgeous pullovers, t-shirts, and even womens clothing. Judging by the quality of the swimsuit, I know that the rest of their line will also scream perfection.

Allowing our children to express their individuality, while still looking classy and kept are a goal that so many mothers hope to achieve. Heck, just keeping Charlotte free from jelly stained jeans some days are all I can hope.

I know that on the beach this year, she will be easily spotted in her hot pink suit!

They don’t carry any one piece bathing suits for women? I like Pink & Brown or a Navy & White one-piece or Tankini for me. And for the little girls swimsuits, maybe they could add a suit made with the Dora the Explorer fabric I’ve seen, and possible a Light Pink Tankini for little girls, or a blue Hawaiian print (not the “Floral” they carry, but in addition to)? And, their running skort only comes in green. Most little girls want pink or lavender, or even navy blue.
