Speaker Dinners Ever felt like conference speakers are up on the stage and totally inaccessible? Think again. The Type-A Mom Conference wants to eliminate the detached, sterile feel of many conferences and give every attendee a chance to learn directly from a speaker. Each speaker will host a dinner at one of Asheville’s 60-plus independent restaurants. All participants will do is pay for their own dinner. Dinners are only open to registered attendees of the conference (no guests, spouses or children) to keep the tables small, but children can stay at the hotel as Kid Con programming and babysitting will be under way (or in-room sitting can be arranged). Watch for a sign up for the speaker dinners and, again, slots will be given out based on first registered.

Varying times. Attendees will receive a schedule of when their shuttle to dinner leaves the hotel.
