There is absolutely nothing sexy about an armpit.
The result is still the same.
Maybe it’s because we shave there (tell me exactly why women genetically have hair under their arms?) and use deodorant there and it’s the source of all evil and sweat. Underarms remind me that I am not a lady.
Cause ladies do not sweat. Or Fart.
But one of the main reasons I don’t care to expose my arms to anyone, which is ironic since I am sharing with you now, is because they always look weird. Due to shaving often, women often experience darkness or redness right under our arms, making sure that when you are in your strapless summer dress that you are totally self conscious.
And its nothing we can really help! Simply put, shaving causes your under arms to lose moisture which leads to dry skin, which leads to inflammation and redness. It’s a cycle that never ends.
Unless of course you want your underarm to look like my husbands up there.
This year, Dove, one of the companies that aims to celebrate real women and our real beauty problems, is putting out the first ever NEW CLEAR TONE ANTI-PERSPIRANT/DEODORANT – the only deodorant in the U.S. designed to reduce red/dark marks and even skin tone.
In Clear Tone and Clinical Protection, you can not only stay dry and stink free (minus the whole baby vomit…Dove cant really help you there), but also put back some of that moisture and clear up the underarm irritation.
Have a great day.
My husband said this wasn’t a real review unless I actually showed my underarms all the way….
I keep telling myself that I do it for Science!
And truly for women, like me, that deserve beauty products that enhance our lives and make us feel awesome.
I will be back in a few weeks to reshare my underarms (I know you cannot wait) and we can all decide together if there are results.
In the mean time, I would love to for you to check out more about Dove Clear Tone here where I have conveniently left you with additional information. Beauty choices are important. You need to make wise choices with what you are putting on your body, in your body, and purchasing for your body.
Plus, I will also be giving some away free and while its not a “huge” giveaway its totally practical and smart, so I fully expect you to enter.
Now, so I am not alone, does anyone else have dry or discolored underarms?
