You could keep this up by doing what one of our former neighbors did: Decorate the mailbox for every holiday of the year (or seasonal theme for those months without a holiday) – until either you get caught or the laugh wears off. January, New Year’s party noise makers; February, Valentine’s Day; March, St. Patrick’s; etc. We always anticpated seeing what the mailbox was dressed up with as a new month rolled around.

That is hillarious.. My sister took a troll out her neighbors garden one time and took it on vacation with them, she sent the neighbors pictures of the troll skiing, out to dinner, at the beach etc… and then about after a month after they got back they put it back. Her neighbor was telling her all about it, she had no clue my sister did it. I thought it was hillarious!

We used to “egg” houses by cutting out pieces of white contruction paper and putting a yellow circle in the middle. Then you tape them all over the house and leave a note saying “you’ve been egged.” Or you can “moon” them by cutting out paper moons and doing the same thing.
