I love vintage jewelry! I was fortunate enough to get a beautiful turquoise ring, and also a fabulous necklace from my grandmother. They would both be at least 120 years old now. The ring is my birth stone (tomorrow is my birthday) and my grandmother gave it to me for my 16th birthday. When I was a junior in HS I lost it in my boyfriend's car and thought I'd die! Luckily he found it, but I was really sweating it for several days.

We bought my engagement ring at a vintage jewelry shop in Los Angeles in 1997 when we were poor as church mice. The name of the store was "Wanna Buy a Watch?" The ring was from the 1940's but I could find out nothing about its history. I dearly love my engagement ring. And couldn't imagine wearing anything else.
