Want to hear me on the radio? Screw up I mean..

mtn-medKelly from Profitable Mommy Blogging invited me to be on her great podcast and it aired yesterday. The funniest part? Here am I la la la….and totally lost my train of thought. I haven’t actually listened to it yet, but I am sure its a riot. Nothing like forgetting your original point while talking on air. Ok, Ok, I’m not a professional speaker.

Her podcast opens up with her online tip post. This week her tip post was in response to a reader who wrote about getting jealous of other online mom bloggers. I found that really interesting; the letter and the advice others gave. Totally worth the listen if you have ever felt like that.

I was actually on to talk about MomDot and Bloggers Give. Kelly was so sweet and I thank her a ton for allowing me to share and to take time out of her morning to chat with me.

My interview starts in the podcast around the 9:37  mark.

Honestly, how did I sound? Stupid? Hit me. I can take it. Maybe.

I think you expressed yourself extremely well. You are too hard on yourself.

Heck, I HOST the Profitable Mommy Blogging show every other week and I screw up. I haven’t had a chance to listen yet but I can tell you, one of the things I love about Kelly’s shows is that the interviews sound so natural, like you’re just sitting there chatting with your girlfriends. Don’t sweat it.

I listened to your interview, and I have to say that you did a great job on it. A lot better then some of the radio shows I have been doing lately. I have a HUGE problem with repeating myself or stuttering when nervous. It’s so bad during the interview, but afterward I always laugh at myself.

You did great Trisha! Everyone is entitled to a fumble or two, don’t worry about that.
