5lbs?! How the heck do they decide 5lbs?! I think you look beautiful and if YOU need to lose 5lbs then I can just imagine what they’d say about me! Hee hee
5lbs?! Really? Wow! Seems like a very little to lose but you don’t look like you need to lose anything, I hope you can lose it easier … cuz I know how hard it can be to lose just one pound!
Having to lose 5 lbs is nothing compared to a cancer diagnosis. It is no laughing matter. Imagine walking around with ashen skin and no hair. What is worse? Don’t joke. It is not funny.
Or having no sense of humor…i think that might be worse than either one.
And from someone who is having a mammogram on tuesday, I think I am entitled to “joke” all I want.
Some things are funny and some are not. This was not. I had the cancer diagnosis and do not find it funny. I have a wonderful sense of humor and that is one thing that helped me conquer the disease. Not only are you not funny in this instance (because other times I do find you extremely funny and entertaining), but you are rude. Sensitivity is a two way street and if you do happen to get a diagnosis that everyone dreads, I believe you will be looking for all the sensitivity in the world.
Its not funny to YOU, but its funny to ME. Lighten up. You think because I made a joke after I went to the doctor to TALK about a lump in my breast, that I am insensitive? Just because I didn’t mention my mother in law whom is a cancer survivor, my step mom that had cancer in both of her breasts and survived, my other step mom whom is passed now (not of breast cancer) but also beat cancer, and my sister in law who just had a biopsy done, doesn’t mean that I have zero experience in feeling or knowing about these things.
THIS is how I deal with it. You deal with it by being “sensitive” and I deal with it by joking. If you cant handle that, then this is not a good site for you because it doesn’t get much better in any of the posts.
And maybe I think you are rude for coming onto my space and telling me what I should and should not be saying about my own life experiences. Thats a 2 way street too. You don’t see me write a lot of woe is me posts no matter what is going on in my life. Its not how I am. I am sorry if I offend you…wait…no I am not.
Just cut the soda and you will lose 5lbs in about a month or so. Only if you are a heavy soda drinker though. I used to be one and then stopped drinking it and lost 5lbs very quickly.
dude you always look tiny (i mean itty bitty skinny) in all of your pictures.
do you secretly wear 6 different spanx?
in all seriousness though, you do have to stop the trend when you notice it. It is so hard to get off and so easy to gain it. and just keeps getting worse with age. just think, when we are 60, all we will be able to eat is a grape, or we will balloon up to 300 pounds!
Question…what in the WORLD is your doctor’s definition of “normal”??? I’ve met this woman people and she is petite and her body size matches its frame. 5 pounds over “normal” but well within the range of what ANYONE could weigh for your height and age I’m betting. Hmmm…don’t let Kadi Prescott get ahold of your doctor’s name. And seriously, clean bill of health otherwise? Female cancers fun in my family…don’t like that I have a “breast” specialist of my own for early scares…even if they are often too much caffeine = too much stress = body not happy.
im not as itty bitty as i want yall to believe. Im smaller than the average (overweight) american, but i am 5 pounds OVER my normal weight. Which means not only am I gaining weight this year, its the highest its ever been AND i have to stop the trend.
I am off to get an exercise machine tonight. No kidding.
I know what you mean about having to stop the trend. I was heavier than I ever was, even though I was technically in my “normal” range…it wasn’t NORMAL for ME. So, joined Weight Watchers and down 9.5 pounds! Only 3 left to go! Whoo hoo!

Explain to that doctor the concept of CURVES….
Diet soda, right?
Although 5 lbs doesn’t seem like a life or death big deal to me from a health regard. Good luck!
Loosing weight is never easy, or fun, no matter how much or how little you have to loose!
But that’s all they said was that you need to lose 5 pounds? I can’t believe you have 5 to lose, but whatever…
No report on what the problem is?
Ok Trisha why do you have to lose 5 lbs? Your so itty bitty now?? *beautiful*
