Every Friday night on MomDOt (unless something weird happens) we host a live show at 8:30 PM central time. To participate, all you have to do is friend us on our LIVE webcam at www.Stickam.com/MomDot. To keep out spammers, please make your screen name same as your BLOG name so we know who you are to approve you.

Then open one screen and go into our show and watch. We suggest you don’t do it in our profile but make the screen larger.

The second part is that you come here to THIS post and follow along via the comments. This means you need to have TWO browsers open. One to watch the show, one to talk with us here. I will read them as we go and talk back to you, so feel free to ask questions. FNL can move quickly, so please re-ask if I don’t get to you right away.

Past topics have been SEO, how to get more traffic, Affiliate links, ads, and of course, game nights. Tonight we will be talking about SPONSORSHIPS for conferences.

Right now, all three MomDot girls are sponsored and I have found a very simple formula that can assist you in sponsorships and why YOU are worth it.

Today I had the pleasure of working one on one with Tanya from Mommy Goggles and she had to say this to say:

Well, yesterday, the company said that they aren’t able to do it. I was crushed. Heartbroken and more emotions that I know how to express in words.  I contacted Trisha. Of course. Why didn’t I think of this before? Duh Me! Well, she helped guide me and Lord and brhold – guess what?  I not only have ONE sponsor… I have two. Possibly more!

I went ahead and purchased my Blogher tickets today because after tomorrow, the price goes up $100 for the 2 day pass. Thank goodness I had some extra money in my PayPal account. This is the ONLY way I was able to pay.  Well, after sending out some emails, within the hour, I had one company reply back with “OF COURSE!!! I will GLADLY pay for your pass!” .. So they are reimbursing me for my conference pass.

Well, 45 minutes later, my cell phone rang. Who the hell is calling ME? Duh – I put my cell phone in the email. Too many M&M’s with the kids gave me ‘foggy head’, so I forgot. LOL After about 30 minutes on the phone, this small company said they wanted to give me $200 to help cover part of my hotel.

My point in sharing this with you is so you know, what we have to say CAN be valuable, but ultimately, how you work with the info is up to you! Once the show is over, we will be pulling a winner to a Car Seat, so every interaction you have on our site will earn you an entry. Just stick around because you must claim immediately to keep your prize.

Last, but not least, we have set up a special forum in the MomDot forum so after the show we can share SAMPLE letters with you. You must be registered there to participate. I will also be available for one on one consults and will talk more with you about that during the show.
