Whats a Key Fob? We are gonna educate you.(Contest) CLOSED

Posted on Trisha-admin on August 15, 2008 // 79 Comments //

When we first met Hazel on the MomDot forum, we instantly fell in love with her. And it most certainly wasn’t hard to fall in love with her painting skills, talent, and love for her craft, either. Among many beautiful hand painted items, Hazel also runs an Etsy store and carries Key Fobs, that speak right to the heart of a mommy or grandmommy.

Painting up to 6 of your kids at once on a Key Fob (and Gosh help you if you have more then that..uh, hem, Wendi, lay low here), you can carry your beautiful children all at once, hand-painted with little hair and eyes and coloring that bring their image to life. With easy to follow key guides to help pick out what your child most represents and even clear color charts, this is a gift you can easily gift your friend, your mother (what a great grandparent gift!) or even carry around yourself.

We are going to give you a chance…no TWO mommy’s (or daddy’s) a chance to pick up one of these gorgeous Key Fobs worth $36 that are hand painted with the kids of your choice (or maybe you, your daughter, and your husband?), so your family is always at the tip of your fingertips when your out and about on the town.

I liked these so much, that I could not help but ask for one for each of the MomDot girls, and Hazel was kind enough to say yes……so I would like to let Toni and Alicia know that Hazel has been hard at work painting your kids and you should get those shortly!

How to win:First of all, Leah, you have already won one…so congratulations and head onto the momdot forum to claim your prize. That leaves 2 left for me to give out. Im going to give oyu lots of ways to win. Each thing you complete below will net you one entry, please leave in a separate comment:

1) Tell us about the gorgeous kids you want on your Key Fob..do you have one child, 6 kids? more? Just leave us a tidbit about your family and that is your first entry.

2) head on over to the ETSY shop and tell us what other things you love of hers!

3) Link MomDot and/or Hazels Etsy shop on your blog (and just think..your helping out a moms business and also letting people know of a totally awesome Christmas gift).

4) leave a comment for one of our Feature Blogger Interviews this week in that post, then come back here and let us know. I think we had two this week.

When you can win: till Tuesday! Ill pull two winners then, US only, and please come back to claim your prize within 48 hours.

I totally love her wooden plates, but I my favorite item is the ornaments. I can just imagine how beautiful they would look on our tree.

I won one of these in May and they are just beautiful. Here is a pic of the one I received:

If I am lucky enough to win another one, I would definitely put all three of my children on it and give it to my mother as a gift. I have a 4.5yr old son who is about to start his last year in preschool and is about to get his yellow belt in taekwon do. And I have twins (one boy/one girl) who are 19mos old. They were born 9-1/2 weeks early so they are peanuts.

I also stopped by her Etsy website and I think the initial key fobs are way cool!

This would be a perfect gift to put Kelsie and of course Baby Aubrey on when she comes :)

What a neat idea. I have 3 kids and would love to have them on a key fob. :) Especially as my two older ones are quickly thinking about fleeing the nest and my little one just grows up too quickly.

Every year, we get a special Christmas ornament for the tree-I visited her Etsy shop and fell in love with the ornaments she does, what a wonderful keepsake! Also, I have 1 boy age 15 and a girl aged 6, both are biracial Hispanic/White with brown hair and eyes and skin that looks tanned and tans well, unlike mom who gets as red as a cooked Maine lobster in the summer sun without SPF protection! Their grandma, my mom, collects key chains and this would be a wonderful gift for her!

She seems pretty talented and would love to be able to see some canvases up. But I really like the initial keyfobs as well.

Of course MomDot is on my blog, I’m adding Key Fobs just because I think this is great for everyone , especially the Christmas ornaments!

I have soon to be a total of 3 angels, my oldest son Devin is 3, with light brown curly/wavy hair and honey brown eyes. Gabriel my 2nd born has short brown hair and light brown eyes, and to tell you the truth I don’t know exactly what color Helana’s hair is.. cause she’s still in the womb till September 7th but she does have a full head of hair (guessing auburnish) and as for eyes.. they’ll most likely be brown!
