Or I could call this “What to Wear to the rest of your  Blog Trips“. Its very sad, but the clothes in my closet span from early college to maternity. Its just not a nice way to dress. My problem is that I am:

A) Cheap

and

B) Cheap

I find no value in clothing. I hate shopping for myself outside of your 90% off sale racks at Walmart and could honestly care less what I wear the majority of the time. Yes, I am the girl in the jogging pants at the grocery store, thank you very much. You would think with as prissy as I am that I would be more materialistic, but I’m not when it  comes to myself.

I shudder at the thought of purchasing shoes.

Nonetheless, I did recognize that I cant show up to all of these meetings in washed out black pants and material from the late 90’s (what? Taffeta isn’t in?) so I have been (gasp!) leaving the house on occasion this week. The best part is I have been spoiling myself with some real purchases and classic materials and patterns that should stand the test of time.

Designer: BCBG (my favorite splurge)

I wish I could truly show what this dress looks like but its super dark inside the house now since its nighttime, so it doesn’t capture the beauty of the material. Ill try to get it tomorrow in the daytime for the full effect. Its quite a beautiful dress. Its not black, its a dark shimmery teal.

Designer: Jessica Simpson

I KNOW! That’s what I said too, but she has some adorable dresses in her line. Her shoes are a bit ’stripperish’, but the clothes are darling.

Designer: Vertigo Paris (shirt)

You can’t see it well, but it has some nice satin detailing all around the shirt, including the belt. A classic white shirt is something everyone needs.

That’s it! Stay tuned for my next post whining about my bank account…
