Does anyone else find this unacceptable? I cant even find a phone number on the bottle to complain which is also annoying.
And I quote the label: “Do not use this adult Extra Strength product in children under 12 years of page; this will provide more than the recommended dose (overdose) of acetaminophen and may cause liver damage.”
Or death I am sure.
Is it that big of a deal to put a child lock on something like medicine? This bottle has 225 gelcaps at 500mg a piece.
Why isn’t the FDA regulating this crap.

@ HaB: I can’t believe you can even this. Of course, it is our responsibility but the law says that any kind of medicine distributed needs to be child proof. Unless you are the perfect parent and never turn your head for even one second, I think you can make such a claim. If not, I think your comment is pure stupidity.
It looks like I too am in the minority here – but, that cap does not bother me. In my mind, it is not the responsibility of a mass market retail chain to keep my kid safe it is mine. Anything Wal-Mart chooses to do along the lines of child proof caps is just a bonus to what I already am doing, on my own, as a parent.

There has got to be some sort of number to call or an address to deal with complaints, but it may be on the box that the bottle came in.
It really wouldn’t make a difference to me, though. Not everyone wants childproof lids, and really, they don’t work on the kids anyway. Seriously, if you can’t get it open, hand it to a kid. Mine can get them open. I have to keep mine locked up.

Walmarts buys theirs, from Johnson and Johnson. We don’t bottle, we just purchase them off the line. Johnson and Johnson runs a separation to label ours.
Target purchases theirs’ from Bristol Mayers, thats the different.
It should be child locked, ues. But it is not walmarts fault.

I have a medicine cabinet that’s locked so the kids can’t get into ANY of our meds regardless of what kind of lid is on the bottle. Bottom line, I don’t rely on someone else’s child proofing methods to protect my children. I do the best I can to make sure they stay out of cleaners, medicines, etc. Isn’t that what we’re suppose to do as parents???

wow, they REALLY need to label that. I can’t count how many times Ryan has climbed from chair to counter in under 5 seconds to get what he wants out of a cupboard and he just turned 5.
I agree…and feel the need to add a different WM vent…32 CHECKSTAND LANES….and only ever 4 OPEN!!!!! Even with people backed up into the clothing department. Any state, any WM, anytime…..ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
