Whew, its been a very busy day

[private]

I first want to thank  Jane (and audrey and sharon) and Kim, and all the mommies that have put up with me on the forum lately with my head spinning off in another dimension. If you do not know these women, you are missing out.  And if you are not a participator in our forums, you are missing out on sharing of ideas, help on sites, writing opportunities, review exchanges, and more. Very impressive networking going on there!

These ladies have gone above and beyond with their time in helping me launch the vision and it would be impossible to do without their expertise. Thank you also to Rachel who gave Bloggers Give its colors and graphics. I usually just say “Rachel, I need this can you just make it up for me?”  And she never fails with her creative ideas.

We have some exciting things happening around here from amazing giveaways this month, to our new review team, to the first dyson girls (AND FEB SIGNUPS GOING ON), plus, we have a few things under wraps we are just not going to reveal yet, but promises to bring great things into the blogging community.

Every now and then I have to stop and say…ok, this is me, this is what I want to do, here is my goal, here is who I want to help, here is where I want to be next month…otherwise my life turns into a 100 a day email chain and countless giveaways and I get lost in the “next” thing, instead of enjoying the now. Maybe that was part of my getting it out the other day. I needed that and thank you so much for all your support and for those that feel like that to.  I suppose it looks surprising as much as I act like a goof over here….but I am not any different from any of you. Pity parties get a hold of you, then you get so many blessings at once, you feel like a fool and start to refocus.

Sarah from Ohana Mama reminded me of what I told her one time (there is nothing like someone throwing your advice back at you, in a nice kind way.) HA! That you have to keep working on your goals for you, and for what you want to achieve, and let the rest go.

To go from just a random nobody, to a nobody that now works with a slew of companies I never would have access to before I entered this community. feels surreal. I even had someone from a very very large corporation tell me today that I was “impressive” and it touched me. I got that little gold star I wanted, right? (if your reading this, thankyou)

My point is, I appreciate all of you. Not every moment can I come by to each individual place, which is why I am so blessed to have a forum to connect with many at once day to day, but it touches my heart when you come by, when you pledge to participate, when your happy you win something, when you show up for a live contest, and when you are just you. No comment goes unread, no thought goes not thought about that you leave behind. Right now I am focusing on the charity and the kids, so please forgive me if I dont make it for every wordless wed (although i got all of them last week) or every contest you host. Im there in spirit rooting you on.

To all my girls……….here is YOUR gold star (which is obviously now the new mascot for us, hahaha). Remember, those around you need little gold stars too…in the form of comments, love, help, posts, and thank yous. Dont forget to pass on some linky love and tell those around you, and I mean the ones online, that what they do is not in vain and that you enjoy them.

Gold Star

Momdot is truly the community blog that I wanted it to be, bringing in ideas, thoughts, posts, and incite from so many great writers that are much stronger then I am and I recognize how lucky we are.

Thank you for letting me be me and more importantly, for showing interest in who I am.

Bad editing and all (jane).

what a nice post! I know that I love Momdot, I’m still finding my way around, but it’s just a great place to stop by for so many resources. Random question…can anyone participate in the forum? I tried to sign up about a month or so ago, but it said I had to await approval. Just curious!
