Who are the bad mommies like me?

I think its been a YEAR since I have updated the baby book. I can barely remember my daughters first words at this point, so its imperative that I actually update that damn thing. I am terrible. Do you update your child’s baby book and how long has it been?

LOL my kids are teens and up and I have NO CLUE where their baby books are (lost in a move or with the exes family perhaps?).
Kyra is not much better than Ian, but at least we have a few of his moments on my blog. ;-)
Rather than making me a bad mommy, I choose to look at it as so involved in living life I don’t have time to document it.

Oh, did I mention she’s 5? And her 3 yr old sister doesn’t have a book?

I bought a baby book. It’s on a shelf. Empty, except for the things I’ve shoved into it to do later.

Baby Book? Oh crap, well let’s see, 3.5 year olds is in a drawer somewhere, think, think, think. I believe maybe I put one of her ultrasound pics in it maybe. 1 year old sadly hadn’t even thought about starting one until just now. Happy to know I am not alone though!

Beat me with the crappy mom award, we have 2 books. Both untouched. I do blog some things and have been pushing myself to write some stuff down. One day I’ll sit down and tinker around applying blog posts and notes into the book(s).

Don’t feel bad Trisha. I feel the same way. I was keeping a journal of my little guys (MLG :) ), every move it seemed for awhile and then it just dwindled. I was thinking the other day that I don’t think I have written anything for over 4 months. (he’s 1 1/2). It is hard to keep up! I applaude those that do :) .

Sometimes we even need to remind ourselves to take more photos. I guess I’m a bad mommy too – gulp!

I haven’t touched the baby book, but I do “keep track” of significant things on my personal blog–so I can go back to it and fill in the baby book later:-)

I’m the same way. I feel totally awful that I haven’t wrote anything in forever. Also, I haven’t printed pictures off my digi camera in over a year! EEK!

I have completely forgot about her baby book. It’s updated up until she was about 3months and I haven’t touched it since. She’s almost a year old.

What baby book? No I’ve been really bad about it too. All the little things I wanted to save our stuck in a box and the pictures are stuck in my computer. It’s on my list of things to do.

I was wondering the same thing as Kritta *lol*!

I did great the first 2 years with a baby book and photos. But I’m sure it’s been over a year since I wrote in his book last, probably on his birthday. Oh, and I haven’t even printed any pictures since March of last year!

My youngest just turned three and I am not even sure if she has a baby book. But I’m a really bad mom. I finally removed the happy family photo and barcode that comes in frames and replaced it with actual pictures of my family. With baby books and scrapping, there is a lot to think, remember, write and design. How lazy am I? I can’t even open a frame and insert a picture.

Seriously, my eldest son is 15 and I’m still working on his baby scrapbook. I’m to age 3 right now. I think that you should hold your head up high and think about what a slacker I am.
