   I love praying mantis. They always look so wise. I used to “rescue” bugs when I was a kid. I once saved a praying mantis with a damaged leg and was trying to nurse it back to health in a box on the porch when my dad accidentally stepped on it and it’s head popped off. Very traumatic! I buried it in the flower garden and we had to have a full on funeral. LOL
