Wordless Wednesday

Updated with a picture. On Fathers day, we were out of town. When we got home, we found this massacre scene in our yard. Apparently the bird lost.

Charlotte was stunned.

  1. At least there weren’t a lot of gory bits on the lawn. I once found a bird’s foot on my lawn…and the rest of it in my backyard. That would have been hard to explain to Rowan. :(

  2. Awww, how sad.

Aww! My cat has been chasing some robins in our yard for awhile. We were gone for the weekend and it looks as if they wised up and set up a new nest elsewhere because they haven’t been seen since. Even though it’s sad, it’s a great lesson to teach Charlotte the facts about life. I always take those opportunities to teach my kids about life and death. Happy WW Trisha!:)
