You all know that I did a video for the radio co-host/dj type position at our local radio station, right? I posted it here for you all watch and then on YouTube to submit the video to the station. Then I sign on today and I have this nasty, completely pathetic comment that I honestly thought, oh lord, one of those MomDot haters found my video online. But no, a REAL non-blogger wrote it, which some how makes it more pathetic. At least the MomDot haters are just sticking to their shtick. It’s expected in a way.
However, I’m curious about this idiot and I look him up and he has left nasty comments on tons of videos of girls in the competition except for one girl and he has ‘favorited’ her video. He is a real winner calling women derogatory names online for no reason.
Now I know I have been out of college for 8 years, but I know RED FLAG when I see it. It’s either her family, friend, or an obsessed stalker fan, right? So I leave a comment on one of the girls videos he trashed and said that I like her and to not take the nasty guy to heart because he left it on everyone’s but a particular girl. I never mentioned that particular girls name or video. In fact, my comment was to support the girl being trashed because I thought it was completely immature and its nice to lend a shoulder to someone. I could have gone to the girls video I think had a part in it and told her to stop the nonsense. Its not like there is a $6000 gift card being offered. (BTW, total props to Walmart. I have used that card all the way to Texas. In a way, they half sponsored my trip to Mom2.0!)
Anyhoo, COINCIDENTALLY the girl I’m talking about happens to comment after me defending herself (keep in mind, this was NOT her video she was commenting after me, someone elses YouTube…what she just happened to find it? Sure. And I am 6 feet tall.), PICKS on being a mommy blogger (knew y’all would looooooove that) and then has the AUDACITY to email me this email below. You know for someone that doesn’t know him and I never even mentioned hername, she is awfully defensive. Enough to write me an EMAIL? I have never written an email to a random person I don’t know to talk about how awesome I am and how their life must suck:
Not that it matters to you but I am in no way related to guy4baseball but he does has the rights of freedom of speech. Truth is my Husband is shy and I would love if he would voice his opinions more, good or bad. Anyway just because someone likes me does not mean they have to know me on a personal level. I am employed unlike you and a lot of others applying. My job already is a dream job, I get to fly around and see our world all while getting paid!!! I also get to take my husband and children on dream vacations other wise we could not afford. How cool is that, I rock and fly!!!! I think you are hating. If I loose this I still have a dream job, what do you have? Mommy blogger? Don’t hate!!! But just because I am telling you the truth, I do like Rachel Pitts, the boob lady and the young girl that has the cute bangs I think her user name is dontfeedthemodels…..so whatever. That is what I like and I am entitled to think whatever I want. Also, 50,000 blogers coming in monthly to view you would add up to more than the number of views your videos have, so be honest with yourself and everyone else. Have a nice day!
Yes, ladies, a random woman I have never met emailed me this to my Youtube account…when I never once mentioned her by name or left a comment on her online video. I’m so glad she knew it was her with this guy even though she has no idea who he is. Oh, and why do people think freedom of speech = acceptable to be a complete asshole?
My favorite part? She assumes I am unemployed and I am JEALOUS of her flight attendant career. Yep, that’s me, sitting here in Texas at the convention with a Clear Channel badge around my neck very, very sad I am just a ‘mommy blogger’. How could I possibly live with myself with only my own design business, an amazing online community, and about 300 PR reps and kick-ass companies fighting for my attention monthly? Hey, random girl…….it’s ‘bloGGer’ not bloger. Maybe they don’t teach spellcheck in flight attendant school, that must be just a blogger thing. And for the record, entering this co-host contest isn’t exactly my life long dream or anything, so the whole thing is super bizarre.
I think being a Mom Blogger is pretty freaking awesome. So is being a mom. And a wife. And all the things that I am that don’t exactly fit in a box of a definition. My life wouldn’t exactly melt away if I didn’t get into this competition or hell, if MomDot faded tomorrow I guess what I would have left is…….me. And I am pretty OK with that.

I would much rather be a blogger than a flight attendant. Bloggers are blazing the way ahead in social media. Not that I have anything against flight attendants, but you get to blog when you want about what you want. Sounds like a dream job to me. But I’m sure you’re too busy hating to agree.
Good for you for standing up for not just you but all the other contestants. I am amazed that she is so obsessed with this job/audition that she even knew about the comment. WOW! I keep thinking people will stop amazing me and then you find another one that does.
@ Qtpies7:
LOL! Its funny you say that because I took her link out after I thought about that. I hate using my NON TRAFFIC to up her video views.
@AJ i knew you were talking about her and not me.
OH, gosh! Maybe she IS the “guy” making those comments on a different log in name. If she didn’t know the guy should wouldn’t have known that she was the only one not getting them. At the very least, she would have said that what he was doing to others was atrocious.
Just this week I had someone comment on a discussion on facebook about how women become a disgrace to women when they stay at home and become babymakers and don’t get an education. So stupid! Ticked me off! I didn’t blog it because she is a minor and I personally know her. I let her have it on facebook, though, lol. She apologized AND her mother apologized! Not gonna happen with a grown up saying the comments, I’m sure her momma has no influence anymore.
I have to agree with you, if she is going to send you something that stupid, obviously knowing that you are a blogger, she’s gotta know it is going to end up here. However, how many people have now gone to see who it is and watch her video? There is no such thing as bad publicity, lol.
@ Victoria Arya:
I was talking about her email to Trisha. Not Trisha’s post.
you rock…no worries!!
Some people just enjoy being mean…I don’t get it.
It is one thing to “speak your mind” or have your opinion but it is not right to be nasty like she was–she was hurtful and that is not necessary.

Btw, why did you not put your blog in your name? its Nutzy.wordpress.com right?
You do realize this is an ACTUAL website, don’t you? LMAO! I had to look it up because I wasn’t sure if you were just being sarcastic or not!
As for this crap….there is always some nut job out there or the Mean Girls from H.S., who haven’t matured yet. She seems to think that the world revolves around her. Narcissist, much? I wonder if she has any real friends? With an attitude like that, I doubt it.
I love being a mommy blogger. It’s fun and I have met new friends. Being a SAHM IS a JOB! We just don’t get paid for it. It’s not like we are sitting around all day watching soaps and eating bon~ bons! BTW, there was a study done a while back that said if stay at home moms got paid for everything they do, we would make well OVER 100k per year! (I bet that trumps flight attendant pay!) She needs to go buy a vowel (and a dictionary/grammar checker, for that matter!)
It’s amazing how little SHE knows about us “Mommy Bloggers”. While she is off jet-setting and letting someone else raise her kids, we are here at home not missing a thing and getting to know our children well. Some of us are entrepreneurs and very successful. Some of us are SAHMS. We all love what we do.
And I bet she is sleeping with that guy…
You go, Trisha! YOU ROCK! I hope you win that contest.
Good for you Tricia! You didn’t only stand up for yourself but you stood up for a complete stranger and all the mommy bloggers out there! Kudos to you!!
She’s just convinced the world revolves around her.. most people are these days. I actually got a good laugh out of that email. Being a mom blogger has been the coolest “job” I’ve ever had, paid or not. Being happy with where you’re at in your life is what is important. Don’t you love it when crazy people test your patience? lol
Um, yeah. I had to laugh when she said you were unemployed. Oh, I wonder what Bambina is then? Since when is owning your own successful business being unemployed? Did you email her back?
Her email made me laugh. She was so defensive and it was like she was convincing herself she has a good life. She’s also completely ignorant to what a Mommy Blogger is. Let her continue to be ignorant, its her loss!
