Since Little P learned to crawl he has turned into a hellion. I say that in the nicest most motherly way I can. Sometimes I even {accidentally} say it outloud. In public.
Like yesterday I was at the store trying to spend 4 minutes getting milk, bread, and cheese (typical, right?) and I was in such a hurry that I left his pacifier in the car. This is Mom101 and I totally failed and as a result, he spend the 4 minutes I was doing Supermarket Dash yelling.
I was mortified.
I get to checkout and he is still going at it and I must have muttered just a little too loudly “Please God just stop” because the lady behind me came over and put his half off sock back on him and managed to calm him down long enough for me to get the groceries on the conveyor. He even waved goodbye to her.
Traitor.
At any rate, my entire days have been consisting of two moods from him. Cranky that he cant stand or cranky that I am not paying 100% attention to him. Its wearing me thin. To top it off, he has a cold, the new puppy has a cold, it got cold outside and I live in the South and that is not supposed to happen, and my husband told me I looked like a mom today.
I think that translates to overworked, overtired, and no fashion sense.
Touche.

Oh my, what a day! Can’t help but see kitty’s face in the background – too cute!
You do look tired, but otherwise great as always. So jealous
I think you need to treat yourself to a couple Oreos!
It gets better ….. sorta.
I can so totally relate. My youngest is just about the same age, and he has that hellion thing going on too. Even on your Mom day you totally look way better than I do! LOL I hope tomorrow is easier for you. This crankiness – it’s just a phase, right??
bwhahahahhahahahahaha.
Until the next “phase” comes along.
I understand. Your “mom” look is about the same as I look today and most days. I am a home daycare provider of 7 kids and currently have an 11 month old that is NEVER happy unless he is doing his own thing that involves wreaking havoc on himself or the house. It’s exhausting to say the least! And being 7 months pregnant doesn’t help. Praying it’s a phase for us both!
ps…LOVE your cat’s look in the background. I think he feels the same way you do!
