You tell her once, then there's a consequence. That's what I've had to do with my 8yo since he was about her age. At first we played the time out game for 2 hours until he FINALLY cleaned up his toys one day. It took him awhile to get it through his thick skull that it was time out or clean up the toys period. There were no other alternatives. Maybe I'm just a hardass. That’s frustrating, but honestly, she waits so long because she knows she can. You tell her once, then there’s a consequence.
