A simple recipe for yummy hamburger soup that tastes perfectly pleasant as is or can be a wonderful base for your own hamburger soup creation.

What You Need
  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 2 cups chopped carrots
  • 3 cups diced potatoes
  • 1/4 cup onions
  • 2 cups tomato juice
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 beef bouillon cubs
  • pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Shape hamburger into mini meatballs and brown in frying pan.

  2. Pour tomato juice into 5-quart or larger stock pot.

  3. Add water, bay leaves, salt, and beef bouillon to tomato juice.

  4. Peel, chop, then add carrots, potatoes, and onions to the pot.

  5. Add in cooked meatballs.

  6. Bring all ingredients to a boil then reduce heat and simmer until carrots are tender and potatoes are done.
