This Simple Key Lime Pie recipe is the perfect blend of sweet and tangy! It's super easy to make, and a recipe that even beginners will be able to master!

What You Need
Crust
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 Tbsp butter (melted, unsalted)
  • 1 1/2 cups graham crackers (OR graham cracker equivalent)
Key Lime Pie Filling
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 28 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3/4 cup key lime juice
  • zest from 2 average limes
Whipped Topping
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
Make Graham Cracker Crust
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Using your small bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press crust mixture into pie pan and bake for 7 minutes. Let cool for 30 minutes.

Prepare Key Lime Pie Filling
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

    In your medium bowl, whisk sour cream, sweetened condensed milk, lime zest, and key lime juice. Pour filling into crust and bake for 10 minutes.

    Let pie cool for 15 minutes, then chill in fridge for 3 hours.

Whip Up Your Topping
  1. Using your electric mixer, beat heavy whipping cream and sugar until you notice peaks. Then, mix in vanilla extract.

    With a rubber spatula, spread topping onto key lime pie. You can also pipe topping onto pie. Decorate with remaining zest as desired.
