garlic powder

corn starch
dissolved in 1/4 cup cold water

cooked white rice

sesame seeds

To cut the pineapple: Slice the pineapple in half, from top to bottom. Set one half aside for another recipe.

Slice to each side of the core, but do not cut through the pineapple. Cut 1" slits across the center and remove the center core with the pointed end of a spoon. Discard Core.

Cut around the outside edge of the pineapple, making sure not to cut all the way through the pineapple. Remove pineapple pieces with a spoon. Slice pineapple into bite side pieces. You will need about 1 cup of pineapple pieces for this recipe.

Add chicken and oil to a skillet and cook until chicken is done. Season with salt and pepper. Add brown sugar, soy sauce, chicken broth, garlic powder and pineapple pieces and mix well. Heat until just bubbling and add in corn starch and water mixture. Stir until thick.
