Baked Chocolate Donuts Recipe with Coffee Flavored Glaze is a perfect way to get your donut and coffee in one
Servings: 6 donuts
What You Need
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • ¼ cup + 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup + 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons Donut House Chocolate Glazed Donut Coffee brewed
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1-2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • add more powdered sugar for a thick frosting
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F and spray a donut baking pan with non-stick cooking spray, dust lightly with flour.
  2. For donuts, mix dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add milk, egg, vanilla and butter. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Fill each donut cavity ½ full with the batter.
  5. Bake 12 - 14 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. For the glaze, whisk together all ingredients until smooth. You may need to add an additional cup of powdered sugar for a thicker glaze.
  7. Dip the top of each donut in the glaze, top with chocolate sprinkles and enjoy.
