Homemade Snickers Bars Decadent and Rich recipe

Homemade Snickers recipe, a copycat better than the real thing! Make your own candy bars at home for a rich, decadent dessert option.

What You Need
  • Parchment paper do not leave this out!
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter I use natural
  • 1/4 cup butter not margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cups marshmallow creme  7 oz
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups peanuts
  • 1 11 ounce package caramels (in baking aisle)
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
  1. Put Parchment paper down and up the sides of a 9x13 pan. You may need to bind it to the pan until your layers build up! Chip clips work great for that.
  2. Melt together 1 cup milk chocolate chips, 1/4 cup butterscotch chips, and 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter in saucepan on low (stirring so as not to scorch or burn) and then layer inside your pan.
  3. Put into freezer to hold while you go onto the next step.
  4. Take your  1/4 cup butter, 1 cup sugar, and 1/4 cup evaporated milk and put on stove till boiling.
  5. Let boil for 5 minutes while stirring every now and again.
  6. Remove your hot pan and add 1 1/2 cups marshmallow creme, 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 1 1/2 cups of peanuts.
  7. After mixing all your ingrediants, add on the 2nd layer to your pan and put back in freezer.
  8. Carefully melt caramels with 1/4 cup whipping creme and then pour over your next layer.
  9. Put back in freezer.
  10. One more time, melt 1 cup milk chocolate chips, 1/4 cup butterscotch chips, and 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter and then you can spread on your last layer.
  11. I left mine in the freezer a few hours to set and then moved to fridge. Keeping cold is optional once set and it should stay bound together just fine.
  12. Indulge!
