Chicken Cordon Bleu

What You Need
  • 4-6 boneless chicken breasts
  • 4-6 slices of ham
  • 4-6 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup Italian herb bread crumbs
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Combine soup and sour cream.  Pour into bottom of 9x13 baking dish.  

  2. Dip chicken into evaporated milk and then into bread crumbs. *I like to have my chicken breasts soak in the evaporated milk for about 10 minutes and then dip into bread crumbs. Either way works.

    Place breaded chicken breast in pan on top of soup mixture.

  3. Lay a slice of ham over each breaded chicken breast.  

    Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 55 minutes, or until the thickest portion of the chicken is 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

  4. Once chicken is cooked through, lay a slice of Swiss cheese over each chicken breast and bake for an additional five minutes.

    Serve with soup mixture drizzled over chicken.
