Unfortunately, when it comes to Halloween our dog is a completely hot mess. He cannot be at the door watching because he goes crazy. He can’t be in the backyard…crazy. We can’t take him with us because yes, he goes crazy. He is a high anxiety type of dog and he does not mix well with all the excitement of Halloween.
But that doesn’t mean the rest of the neighborhood won’t have their adorably dressed calm dogs walking the streets with them and if your area is the same way, it would be nice to be ready for those pups!
I have created a very simple Doggie Bag Tag where you can add your favorite doggie treats, seal up and tie for an easy pass out! Now everyone gets a doggie treat!
Doggie Bag Tag: Halloween Treats
All you need is
- Quality white Card stock
- Large circle hole punch
(scissors work too)
- Regular hole punch
- Pipe Cleaners
- Doggie Bag Tags Printable (download link)
- Doggie treats in a bag, We used
First, print your tags on white card stock. I always make sure I change the printer paper so its the best quality.
Punch out your tags.
I have a Sizzex machine where I can adjust the circles so they are all fancy, but honestly, scissors work fine too.
Punch a hole in your tags and insert Pipe cleaner.
At the time making these my kids had run off with my hole punch so…I did it the whole bend and snip way. It’s not as pretty as a nice clean hole punch.
Insert Doggie treats into clear plastic baggies (or treat bags you can get in Holiday or Birthday Aisles)
Twist and done!
Happy HOWL-O-WEEN!
