Neveo: Create Your Own Family Magazine

I recently downloaded the Neveo app to try out. Their aim is to reconnect family generations through albums (like magazines) that are sent to family members, such as grandparents, every month.

I’ve been so excited to get started on this. For years and years, I have done something similar for my grandma, who lives very far away. She’s not computer savvy at all, so I had to get her pictures and info that was tangible somehow.

I ended up having to transfer pictures from my phone to my computer, edit them, put them in a document, and try and do some sort of layout. THEN I still had to add captions, print everything out on my own printer (using up a ton of ink and paper), and use snail-mail to send it!

The thing is she LOVED getting the updates about her great-grandchildren so much, so I was happy to send them. But it was laborious, to say the least.

This app seemed like the perfect fix. I easily downloaded it to my phone, opened it up, and got started adding pictures right away. I had fun adding captions to each picture and thinking about what I wanted to journal for those images.

And that’s all there was to it!

No kidding. I don’t have to worry about anything else. I just got to sit back and relax while everything was done for me!

Here’s how it works:

I choose my photos (daily if I want to) in the Neveo app. I add captions if I want. Then Neveo gathers them every month. Neveo handles the formatting, layout, and automatic printing. I don’t touch a button! Neveo then sends the journal/magazine to my grandma or parents, or any other family I want it to go to.

Doesn’t that sound amazing?

Here are a couple more things to keep in mind: your monthly paper can have up to 100 photos. You can use the mobile app or work from your computer. You can invite your family to join and they can post their own photos. There’s no commitment on your end. And there’s worldwide delivery!

I’m so excited to be able to share a family journal with my loved ones who live far away and only see me and my children a couple of times a year. Now they can still easily get to know each other through these beautiful monthly albums!
