Before you get started you need a few things. You can run out and pick these up at the store, but I find it super easy to do some of my non-perishable item shopping right on Amazon. Did you know they ship a TON of grocery and household items??

Its pretty much amazing.

Check out the prices…so good and without the hassle of dragging the kids to the store.

Whip the butter, icing sugar, and cocoa powder together and adjust the consistency with milk (or more icing sugar if it gets too runny).

Spoon the frosting into a piping bag with a spiral tip.

Melt the melting chocolate in a microwave proof dish in 30 second intervals, stirring well in between heatings.

Using a sharp kitchen knife, cut the OREO cookies in half and attach.

Attach the OREOs to the Reese’s as shown with a dab of melted chocolate. Hold in place until the chocolate sets and then add the candy eyes with melted chocolate.

When the cupcakes are cool, frost them with the chocolate icing and then garnish with a delicious bat!

Makes 24.
