When I was looking for a swing set, I looked high, low and all over. I pretty much hit every website online, went to Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart, Sams Club, Toys R Us. I was even willing to settle on a used one from Craigslist to get what I wanted with the price I was willing to pay.
While I ended up purchasing from Sams Club, I did want to share a site that is having a sale from now till June 7th with some pretty much incredible discount deals for swingsets.
Had I found this Gorilla Pioneer Peak swingset deal before I purchased, I would have bought this instead.

To give you some perspective, I paid $1000 + Tax for the one I bought and it has three levels, a rockwall, 2 swings, a slide, and a teeter totter. While its nice, its not nearly as fun as some of these look.

This site has other more cost effective swing-sets as well, as in under $750, but if you have been searching for something special you already realize that these swing-sets are usually above $2K-$4K. I don’t know much about this site; actually nothing. Do not consider this blog post an endorsement as its just a site I found online randomly. However, they do carry an accredited BBB listing on their page so I am sure you can look them up.
From what I can tell its a surplus discount store and according to their website they search out extras in “lots” so they can pass on savings. So do your research and give them a call if you are interested. They do allow local pickup if you live near them.
I’m all jealous I didn’t see these before.

With the swing set season stating soon I wanted to let your followers know that Gorilla Playsets is not the only company that is being targeted by these scammers. As Todd mentioned above unfortunately there are many scammers out there claiming to be authorized dealers and of course, they are not.
I just completed a search on craigslist and found many of our other brands being targeted by these scammers in the same manner that they are targeting Gorilla Playsets. They have increased their presence and try to lure buyers into the scam. Buyer beware and do not fall for a scam. Research and buy only from authorized dealers.
As Todd said,” In short, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.”

Unfortunately there are many scammers out there claiming to sell Gorilla Playsets, but we only sell to the public and authorized dealers. Many of these scams take place on Craigslist and a site called Liquidators Centers (or variations on that title). We only sell damaged sets through our factory in Canton; we do NOT allow dealers to sell them, so that is a sign of a scam. Most of these web sites and CL have these sets not only below Minimum Advertized Price (MAP) but below wholesale and below cost. In short, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. We have a disclaimer on our web site about the Green Dot Money Card; most of these scams use that method of payment and buyers have absolutely NO recourse should they use that method of payment.

This is a scam! You should remove this from your blog and inform all mothers who have seen this to beware of this company. I am extremely upset right now because I relied on the recommendation you gave above and even clicked on the link above to connect to this web site. It is apparently a scam (see http://www.ripoffreport.com) and I am out $750 in cash. I feel very violated and will be filing a complaint against this scam artist but don’t want any more mothers to be a victim. Their web site is now down and I cannot reach anyone regarding the shipment of this playset.

I even said this is NOT an endorsement right in my post, so I most certainly did *not* give a recommendation at all and even warned to look them up. This was not a review, I had no contact with the company, and I did not purchase from them.
I am sorry that you had a bad experience, like I said before, I found it online and wasn’t sure, I was simply sharing a website link. I dont want my visitors to believe that I was recommending something when I even said in the post that I was not. If I purchase from somewhere, I will specifically also mention that I did purchase and my experience or if a company comped a product, it will also say that there was a comped product.
This was just a website I found and passed on and because it did seem too good to be true, i mentioned to look it up. I hope you are able to get your money back. Instead of deleting it, Im going to leave it here so others can read this and see your response that may be looking them up.
1000+ for this huge playset, Really competitive. I found a swing set like that cost more than 3000 dollar on lifespanswingsets.com.au in Australia. But the quality could be tricky that we can not tell from those pictures. Go have a look is always good idea.
