Before you get started on making your mexican pizza dip, you will need a few things.
Layered Supreme Mexican Pizza dip
- 1 cup Ragu® Traditional Sauce
- 1/2 pound cooked meat
- 1 8. oz block of creamed cheese
- sliced olives and cut up green peppers
- bits of bacon bits (to taste)
- 1 cup cheese (more if you are a cheesaholic like me)
- 1/2 tsp each of Oregano, Basil, Parsley
- At end: Optional Sour Cream
To make:
First mix your spices and softened cream cheese in a bowl. Then spread on the bottom of a 9 inch round pie plate.
Now you layer your ingredients.
First we added cheese, then meat, pasta sauce, more cheese, and lastly added green peppers and sliced olives.
Pop in microwave for 5 minutes on High.
Serve hot and with a side of sour cream!
Because I buy my Ragu® Traditional Sauce in bulk at Sams club, I have plenty for other great recipes like this! From pizza to spaghettis sauce, meatball sandwiches to delicious dips, Ragu® Traditional Sauce is a staple in my pantry because of its long standing quality and traditional taste! And since my dip is done, I will be bringing it over to a party we are going to tonight for everyone to savor (that is, if I can keep my chips out of it for another hour!).
