Watermelon Agua Fresca Recipe

Are you excited out there with all the warm weather circulating everywhere? We are! And now with the sun out we can start eating outside and enjoy picnics with the family. Now everyone already knows great potato salads, cookies, and turkey lettuce wraps go great in your basket, but what about the beverage? We have whipped up a delicious and fresh drink that everyone is sure to love (recipe Courtesy of Sams Club).

Watermelon Aqua Fresca Recipe, perfect for backyard picnics and BBQs, huge FRESH hit with the kids too

Watermelon Aqua Fresca

  • 4 cups – coarsely chopped seedless watermelon
  • 3 cups – water
  • 3/4 cup – Lipton® Lemon Sweetened Iced Tea Mix
INSTRUCTIONS
  • 1. Process watermelon in blender until smooth. Strain to remove pulp, reserve juice.
  • 2. Combine watermelon juice, water and Lipton® Lemon Sweetened Iced Tea Mix in pitcher; chill. Serve in ice-filled glasses. Garnish, if desired, with watermelon wedges.

Watermelon Agua Fresca Recipe

What You Need

    I’m not a huge watermelon fan, but this recipe looks so refreshing I think I could drink an entire pitcher of it. I also LOVE the simple recipe!

    This sound amazing – perfect for summer! I think recipes like this are so great for summer picnics because you really can add a little adult vodka to the mix and still have it be something the kids can enjoy without feeling left out.

    What a yummy recipe! Watermelon is such a huge part of my summer menu. These are perfect drinks for serving at BBQs and 4th of July celebrations.
