BLT Dip Recipe With Sour Cream and Bacon!

by trisha haas

5 Minute BLT Dip is a perfect cold dip made with sour cream, mayo and of course topped with bacon and tomatoes! This under 5 minute prep dip will be on your table in no time and is a great compliment to a buffalo chicken dip and football spread.

WOOT WOOT! The best time of the year is here, PREGAME PRIDE and its your turn to get your Alma Mater on (or just your favorite team) by celebrating. And there are SO many ways to celebrate. Pregame kick offs, favorite sweaters, pools (everyone loves those) and of course….FOOD.

In fact, I love prepping game day food so much I just had to share with you one of my favorite game day dips; BLT Dip! This is a lovely combination of mayo, sour cream and all the fixins. You do not need to bake anything to have this dip served cold and requires almost zero time in the kitchen, which is perfect to get back to the game!

We call it the “5 minute dip” around here.

How to make Easy BLT Dip

  • 2 cups Hellmanns
  • 2 cups sour cream (don’t use that low fat stuff)
  • cut up some tomato, green onions and bacon!
  • serve with chips of your choice, I like pita kind but would work with Fritos

All you do is mix up your mayo and your sour cream, then top with your “BLT” portion.

We like to cut up tomatoes, green onions and of course bacon.

You cannot have enough bacon!

While I left all the pretty stuff on top for a picture, probably best to mix it in for guests so everyone gets equal parts of the tasty stuff!

Tail-gating festivities is a huge, huge staple where I live and its pretty much an all day event. All day, like 6am till 11pm at night thing. And one of the only reasons for tail gating is getting together with friends, having fun and letting lose a little bit cheering on team favorites. Personally when I get together with friends and family I’d like to be more than the “Trisha that sits in yoga pants at home.” I take a shower and all that stuff. And so does my husband! You have to start out your day looking and feeling your finest, especially when its that long.
