Now that summer has officially arrived in the Haas house, my kids want to get up at 7am and  play.Â
*shudder*
They do not want to eat. They do not want to wake up slowly and watch some morning cartoons. They do not want to lounge in pj’s till noon.
Damn I miss lounging in pg’s till noon.
They want to run into the backyard like banshees and get into every possible thing before I have so much as poured cream in my coffee. So yesterday I created a “Mommy’s Special Frozen Coffee Recipe“, complete with dollar store ingredients so as not to break the bank, and grab-able for those early morning backyard days. Which is pretty much every day in my world.
Looks like this…
but tastes like this…
Frozen Coffee Pumpkin Pop
Need
- 1/2 cup can of pumpkin
- 1/4th cup Sweet Condensed Milk
- 1 Chai Coffee K cup (or you can use your favorite flavor if you prefer) (make 1 1/3 cup coffee, if you are on a Keurig that is the second to last setting)
1) Mix together, pour into your molds, set overnight and voila! This recipe makes 4 homemade ice pops that have prerequisite caffeine filled coffee, so keep them away from your kids unless you want them to skip naps.
They are delicious.Â

P.S. This post has a great ice cream deal you should know about (And a contest to win!) so your kids do not feel left out.
This looks really delicious! I love this idea s a picker upper mid day maybe! It would keep me from grabbing a can of Dr Pepper for sure!
These look really fun! I’m not a coffee person, but I would definitely try these!
Such great flavors. This would make a great treat on a hot summer day. Adding to my recipe list.
Oh my yumminess!! Condensed milk, coffee, pumpkin…delish!!
Now that’s really cool! What a great idea. Perfect for the summer! Love the last picture! LOL!
That looks delicious! What a great way to enjoy coffee in the hot summer!
Ooooh! I never thought to do this – YUM! What a great idea!
Oh my gosh! I love pumpkin but hate how it is only around in the fall! This is a great summer treat! YUM PUMPKIN!
A mommy popsicle! I need to make sure my baby doesn’t steal this one!
I love the photos! Definitely my kind of Popsicle!
I love coffee. I’ll have to try this this summer for myself.
I love the last picture of this post! Yum is right 🙂
Those look really delicious. I love anything with pumpkin in it.
I love pumpkin and I think this would really work for me. Your pictures are beautiful. Makes me want one right now.
Nice life hack with this coffee-pop! Those chai k-cups are to die for. I’ve made the mistake of forgoing the coffee altogether when rushed in the morning, and it is ALWAYS a bad idea. I turn into a monster! This is a much better solution!
This sounds so interesting and delicious. I love all of these flavors so I am sure I would love these. Thanks for sharing!
I have never thought of using coffee in popsicles, but I love it!! Will definitely be trying this! Thank you so much for linking up at Tasty Tuesday! Your recipe has been pinned to the Tasty Tuesday Pinterest board! Please join us again this week!
So easy to make! Hubby loves coffee, he’d be all over this!
I’m not a coffee fan, but I do love pumpkin and I like your idea!
Sounds yummy and like a great way to beat the heat. I love chai tea and mixing it with pumpkin is a great idea.
Well, you have me convinced. I love coffee, and I love frozen treats. I can’t wait to make these.
This sounds so yummy! I would totally love to try this out!
These frozen coffee pumpkin ice pops sound great. They’re perfect for summer.
How clever! I really need to try this. Nothing can stand in the way of me and my coffee in the morning. It is a must have for me.
This looks super yummy! My kids want to get up early in the summer, too.
Definitely passing this along to my husband. He is not only the coffee drinker in our house, he also has summers off.
That is awesome! And we are on similar pages, I have 2 more boxes of pumpkin coffee K-cups!
Great idea using it as a coffee stir! My drinks are always too hot, anyways.
That sounds and looks so good,I will have to try this out sometime.
I am big into pumpkin, but don’t do coffee. I am thinking of trying it with my herbal tea though.
I absolutely have to try this! I love pumpkin AND coffee, so I can only imagine how awesome these taste.
YUMMMMMMM!
